FS2S – from Science to Society workshop: translating today’s research into tomorrow’s solutions
Three-day workshop at University of Cambridge to discuss how academics can ensure the positive impact of their research to society. For that, we use as an example the biomedical cluster and deep tech startups that are found in Cambridge (UK) where the translation of research is done in a highly effective manner.
Each year, we give this opportunity to 30 highly talented Spanish Early Career Researchers that we select in a selection process so they can have the opportunity to meet and discuss the above topics with world renown leaders.
With this initiative, we also want to help foster Spain-UK relationships post Brexit via talent networks, as well as highlight the importance of tech transfer and scientific innovation as a key stone in Spanish economy.
“2020 workshop was cancelled due to the COVID 19 emergency. You can sign up to our newsletter to be the first one to hear about the selection process opening for the 2021 edition
