We are extremely delighted to announce that, after the first edition of our workshop FS2S: from Science to Society, translating today’s research into tomorrow’s solutions, we already have the dates of the II Edition: FS2S 2023 will be held at the University of Cambridge (Christ’s Church College) from April 11th to 14th, 2023.

During these four days, the selected participants will discuss different ways to transfer scientific knowledge to society. For this purpose, we will count with researchers at the University of Cambridge who are also scientific entrepreneurs, work on projects together with companies, or help transform politics using science. This seminar is addressed to young Spanish scientists (early-stage researchers) interested in the areas of knowledge transfer, permeability, industry <> science and entrepreneurship. The selection criteria and the logistics are detailed in this pdf.

Those interested in attending must complete the following form before February 20th, 2022. The decision on the selection process will be notified before March 3rd. Both the academic program and the accommodation, including daily meals will be covered by the organization. Transportation costs will be borne by the attendees. Registration fees (€100) should be paid to Rafael del Pino Foundation once the candidate’s acceptance has been communicated.

From Science to Society workshop is an unprecedented activity in the history of our Club of Scientists. It consolidates our institutional growth and our capacity to impact Spanish society and the young scientific community.
